If history is any indicator, these puppies should be very outgoing, social butterflies with a high energy level.  Speed, enthusiasm and drive has been a consistent theme for three generations-the byproduct of breeding for sound bodies, solid temperament, and good health.  They likely will be relatively slow to mature mentally and physically, but will be worth the wait!    This litter will be pure for sable and tri factored sables, though there is a small possibility of tri puppies as Cory's pedigree leaves the possibility he could be tri factored (unlikely though).  The pure for sables should be a rich red but may develop some dark overlay as they mature.  We expect lots of flash and probably most will have face blazes.

Cory is currently getting ready to show in Utility, needs one leg each to finish his NA and NAJ titles, and is also working in tracking as time allows.  He LOVES to train, no matter what the venue, and will happily go until he drops.  He is very fast in agility and a consistent crowd pleaser.  He is easy to live with, gets along well with other dogs and children, and accompanies me to work daily.  Cory is 15 ¼ inches tall, 21.5 lbs with a well balanced body, good head planes, full muzzle and nice flat topskull.  Cory's sire was my dog Andy, who at his untimely death at nearly 12 years of age was still tearing up the agility and obedience rings, needed one leg each to finish his UD and AX, and was certified/actively entering in tracking tests.  He had incredible speed, focus, drive, and energy, and was absolutely the most fun dog ever.  Cory's dam Annabelle  has 5 breed points and is a lovely, sound bitch.   Her litter brother CH Whiteoak Laurelen Dealer's Choice II “Brett”  won the stud dog class at the ASSA national in 2009 and at the 2011 national won the veterans class and was the sire of the  Select Dog and grandsire of Winners Bitch.   Their sire, CH Belmar Joker's Wild “Ricky” is prepotent for producing good front structure, sound bodies and movement, and outgoing stable temperaments.  He is the sire of 5 breed champions (with several more likely to finish) and a herding champion, and at 12 is still going strong.  I have been lucky enough to have Ricky and many of his offspring as patients, so have seen many of his kids and grandkids develop.  The fact that my young dog from Cory's first litter doubles back on Ricky should tell you what I think of this family of dogs!

Breezee is an outgoing, stable bitch with outstanding front structure and a pretty head.  Her dam, Zoe, is also sired by CH Belmar Joker's Wild (Ricky) out of O’Sure’s Educating Rita, a daughter of Carole Steele’s CH Kyle OA OAJ.  Zoe is also a litter sister to Nancy Runyon's HC Saralee.  Brezee’s sire, Chris Schmidt's “Bear” (CH Road's End Obvious Conclusion)  has several  doing well in the agility ring, including Amy Langhorst's CH Jedi, and  Sandy Covitch's MACH Chase and Carly.

Cory's litter in 2010 was out of Breezee's dam Zoe. There were two puppies in that litter which will turn 2 the end of May 2012;  “Robbie” is with me and is training in agility, obedience, and tracking.   I hope to have him ready for Beginner Novice obedience early this summer and hopefully “real” obedience not too long after and agility soon as well.   His sister “Saffron” is with Pam Luckenbill in Louisville.  She finished her UKC CH under a year of age with a Best Puppy in Show as well as a Best Puppy in Match, and finished her AKC TD (tracking title) in the spring of 2012.  Both of these puppies have exceptionally outgoing, loving temperaments, high drive, and sound bodies.  We do hope with the outcross  to Bear in the current litter to increase  size a little, as both of these two matured out at about 13 ½ inches tall.
